He is survived by: his children, Raymond, Antonio Sonntag, Alicia Stang (John), Eric (Jules), William Sonntag (Janina) and Heidi Wagner (Edward); and his siblings, William Sonntag (Susan), Elizabeth Borkowski (John), Fredrick Sonntag (Kathy), Lorelle Kiefer (late John) and Edward Sonntag (Kathleen).
