She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Knoerzer; her sister Harriet Halleran (John); and her parents, Dutch and Johanna (Hoogervorst). She is survived by: her children, Susan Knoerzer (late Dean Wharton), Robert Knoerzer (Mary Louise), Thomas Knoerzer and Mary Pat Polk (Daniel); her grandchildren, Robbie (Ann), Charlie (Melanie), Brittany, Sean (Paige), K. C. (Olivia), Natalie, Meg and Beth; her great grandchildren, Paul and Rory; and her brother Pete Wereldsma (Mary Lou). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerry Funeral Home (7020 W 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). A Mass was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saint Alexander Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
