She was predeceased by: her husband Clemente Valentin; her son William Valentin (Armandina); and her brothers, Guillermo and Antonio Mendez. She is survived by: her children, Mina Lopez (Concepcion), Clemente Valentin Jr. Yolanda Melendez (Santonio), Aide Massini (Hector), Marilyn Valentin (Luis R. Hernandez) and David Valentin; and her siblings, Felipa Mendez, Lucia Hernandez (Concepcion), Genoveva Vale (late Jose), Sabina Sanchez (Luis) and Ruben Mendez (Doris).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home & Cremation Services (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A prayer was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (8245 W 111th St, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
