He is survived by: his mother Jane Wolan; his siblings, Alice and Anthony; his wife Diana; his children, Drake, Garrett and Alaina; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Rusco, David Podewell (Michelle) and Stephen Podewell (Erica); and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Rusco, Alyssa Rusco, JeanAngelique Podewell, Annaliese Podewell, Isabella Podewell, Bryce Podewell, Joshua Podewell and Marissa Podewell.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Lutheran Church (7800 McCarthy Rd, Palos Park, IL 60463). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church (7800 McCarthy Rd, Palos Park, IL 60463).
