Joseph Nunes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Nunes of Palos Heights, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his close friend Mary Anderson; and his parents, Joaquim Nunes Maia and Maria Marques. He is survived by: his sons, Marcus, Paul (Joan Cummings) and Joseph (Wendy Heimann); and his grandchildren, Katherine Cantu (Derek), Marc (LauraBertini), Alexander (Julia Vasquez), Jonathan, Charlotte, Michael, Eva and Noah. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Evans Scholars Foundation (http://www.wgaesf.org) in the name of the Nunes Scholarship fund.
