It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel Mech (Palos Heights, Illinois), who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nella Mech; his children, Katherine and James Jr. Dear; his siblings, Janet "Susie" Dierlam, William Mech (Jody), Barbara Duke and Norman Mech (Joan); and his siblings-in-law, Helen Mowday (Shayne), Christopher Semeniuk (Sandra) and Edward Semeniuk (Vicki).
