He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Baumgart, and Eileen Baumgart, Sr. (Swanson). He is survived by: his wife Gail Baumgart (Richards); his children, Joshua Baumgart (Valerie) of Munster, IN and Sarah Baumgart (Michael) of Highland, IN; and his siblings, Richard Baumgart of Palm City, FL and Judy Baumgart of Onalaska, WI. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
