He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cholewiak and Lucille of Chicago. He is survived by: his wife Debby; his brother Daniel Cholewiak; and his sister-in-law Susan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerry Funeral Home (7020 W 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). A prayer was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Alexander Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
