She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland "Ink" Eyer and Verda DeWitt Eyer. She is survived by: her husband Fred File, Jr. of Cricket's Northside Tavern; her children, Susie Fenton (Brian) of Palmyra, IL., Kathy Wolff (Bill) of St. Louis and Steve File of Palmyra; and her siblings, Marilyn Armstrong (Bill) of Hettick and Gary Eyer (Patty) of Hettick. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stults - Neece Funeral Home (201 N Main St, Palmyra, IL 62674). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
