It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Cary Abbott of Palmyra, Illinois, born in Washington, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, James Abbott and Linda Valentine Abbott of Washington; his daughters, Tiffany Walters (Barrett) of Jerseyville and Cassidy Abbott of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Ryan Boston, Aubree Walters and Ainsley Abbott; and his sister Kelly Green (Larry) of Washington.

Memorials may be made to Routt Catholic High School Softball Program.
