It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Michael Orator of Palmer, Illinois, born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stanley and Louise Ellen Orator (Lurtz); and his sister Sue Orator. He is survived by: his close friend Marcia Dunaway of Palmer, IL; his siblings, Christine Reed (Karl) of Springfield, IL, Kathy Owens of Ocala, FL, Steve Orator (Lori) of Normal, IL and Dan Orator of Ocala, FL; and his aunt Mary Lurtz of Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
