He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert Grove, Cecil and Dorothy Piper. He is survived by: his parents, David Piper and Twyla Piper (Grove) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his children, Brendyn Piper of Palestine, Illinois, Halle Piper of Palestine, Illinois and Aidyn Piper of Palestine, Illinois; and his grandmother Phyllis Grove of Bridgeport, Illinois. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Lawrence County Humane Society or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
