He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Seaney and Alma "Sally" Seaney (Herlitz); and his brothers, Richard Seaney and Larry Seaney. He is survived by: his son Christian Seaney (Danniel Hartleroad); and his grandson Spencer Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
