He was predeceased by: his parents, Carley Franklin and Myrtle B. Tidwell (Jenkins); his wife LaDonna Jean (Barrick); his son Donnie Hyre; his stepson Lyndal Sork; and his siblings, Rosie Willis, Nora Durbin, Frank, Richard and Walter Tidwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lora Hyre of Robinson, IL, Donna Sue Hyre, Dessie (Scott Carr) and Kathy (Theron Carpenter); his daughter-in-law Debbie Hyre of Robinson, IL; his stepson Dave Sico of Norris City, IL; his siblings, Alice Ashley of Old Town, FL, Linda Harrelson of Norris City, IL, Carol Smith of Norris City, IL and George Tidwell of Norris City, IL; and his pet Rowdy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as his best friend and beloved four-legged companion.
