She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Roy Petersen and Mary Josephine Petersen (Anderson). She is survived by: her children, Judith Beckes (Harold), Carol Castellon and Arthur Rapp (Chona); her grandchildren, David Beckes (Christa), Dan Beckes (Jill), Ben Beckes (Amy), Mark Edgington (Silvia), Christina Chopra (Amit), Christopher Collins (Jamie) and Michael Castellon (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Reid Beckes, Brayden Beckes, Aubrey Beckes, Nathaniel Beckes, Daylen Beckes, Elijah Beckes, Colton Frye, Maegan Frye, Jeannette Ortiz, Milton Ortiz, Adonay Ortiz, Nicholas Collins, Caley Collins, Drew Collins and Kingston Collins; and her brother Roy. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In 2022, she survived long Covid and wrote a book while recovering, leaving her descendants a record and stories about long-gone ancestors.
