As Peggy Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Peggy Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Peggy Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Perry Drennen and Sylvia Drennen (Skaggs); and her husband Jack E. Watson. She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Deanna Watson; her granddaughter Sophie Watson; her stepgranddaughter Katie; and also Alivia.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goodwine Funeral Home - Palestine (501 W Lamotte St, Palestine, IL 62451). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the "Oblong Children's Christian Home", with envelopes available at the funeral home.
