We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Nina Ellis of Palestine, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Goff and Ola Goff (Brashear); her husband Jack Ellis; and her siblings, June Hamilton, Rosemary (Bill Chilcote) and Harold Brashear.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa and Terri; her son-in-law Lee Herning of Findley, OH; her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Sandy Ellis of Palestine, IL; her grandchildren, Ben Herning, Kristina Herning, Alex Herning, Jeremy Ellis and Megan Ellis; and her great grandchild Lucy Ellis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In honor of the love she had for her hometown, memorial contributions may be made to either "Palestine Grant-In-Aid", "Palestine Academic Foundation", "Palestine Library", or to the "Fife Opera House".
