It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Milburn Parker of Palestine, Illinois, born in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Milburn may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Jenny" Harris; his parents, James B. Parker and Ora Parker (Dunning); and his siblings, Norris Parker, Maxine Boyd, Mary McGahey and Judie McCarter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Mills of Palestine, IL and Janet Brown of Texas.
