Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Louise Whittaker of Palestine, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 93, on September 27, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Stevenson and Bonnie Stevenson (Shank); her former husband Bert Coonce; her husband James F. Whittaker; her siblings, Warren Stevenson, Leonard Stevenson, Samuel Stevenson, Harold Stevenson and Aleta Jo Crouch; and her son Daniel Whittaker.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Coonce (Alice) of Palestine, David Whittaker (Linda) of St. Francisville, Don Whittaker (Barb) of Lawrenceville, LaDonna Speth (Donnie) of Vincennes, Kim Haycraft (Roy) of Petersburg and Mary Pargin (Pat) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (1303 12th St, Lawrenceville, IL 62439). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Central Christian Church.
