He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ellen Sturm; his son Alan Maddox (Marcia Elder) of Robinson, IL; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Tricia Maddox, Kristi and Jason Knox. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
