He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur Grimes and Maisie Hayes Grimes. He is survived by: his parents, Brian R. Grimes (Neely Scott) and Nancy E. Pirtle; his children, John D. Grimes, Mikayla Grimes and Destiny French; his grandparents, Danny Lee and Martha Faye Pirtle; and his siblings, Halee Grimes (Ryan Gettinger), Billy Ray, Arty Lee and Haden Grimes. He is also survived by many loving cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and many dear friends.
