Joey Armstrong Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joey Armstrong of Palestine, Illinois, born in Oblong, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Armstrong (York); his brother A. J. Armstrong; and his half-sister Cheryl Patton. He is survived by: his father George Armstrong; his children, Kaycee Miller, Gabriel Dougan, Bridgette Armstrong, Tyler Songer, Connor Armstrong and Bailey Helms; his grandchildren, Mymphis Dougan, Payton Childress, Trace Songer and Easton Songer; his half-brother Terry; his stepmother Vivian Friedrich; his friend Todd Brown; his former wife Angel Armstrong-Keene; and also, Dave Cox, Kelly Cox and Leslie "Babe" Cox. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In honor of his love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to "Crawford County Humane Society".
