With heavy hearts, we announce the death of SLW Joanne Fedewa (Palatine, Illinois), who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fedewa and Elizabeth Fedewa (Thelen); and her brothers, Leo Fedewa (Alberta) and Msgr. She is survived by: her siblings, Bernita Vitek (Alex), Mary Smith (Joseph), Odelia Thelen (Gerald), Margaret Thelen (Clair), Catherine Van Acker (John) and Matt Fedewa; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Fedewa (James) and Janice Fedewa (Joseph). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In honor of Sister Joanne donations may be given to the Sisters of the Living Word.
