He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Hoa Thi Ly; his children, Hung (Trang Lai), Lynn Chang (Perry), Trinh Man (Tony), Vinh (Kim Nguyen), Lan Du (Phillip), Phuong Pham (Nhat), Quyen (Chu Lee), Oanh, Nhan Tanaka (Raymond) and Mai (Tony Vo); his grandchildren, Richard, Duc, Phu, Yann, Jennifer, Kevin, Angela, Andrew, Michael, Steven, Minh, Quang, Hunter, Calvin, Hanna, Brendan and Violet; and his great grandchildren, Joey, Davis, Evan and Isabelle. He was also cherished by four siblings and many nieces and nephews.
