He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Breckler and Paula Breckler. He is survived by: his wife Linda Breckler; his daughter Christine Breckler; and his siblings, Paula Sue Hayden, Victor Breckler, Jr., Mary Ellen Thomas (John), Pamela Houndt (Herb), Brian Breckler and James Breckler (Kimberly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
