He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Kenneth Marek Sr. and Evelyn Margaret "Dolly" Marek (Beck); and his siblings, J. Kenneth "Butch" Marek Jr., Robert James Marek and Mary Colette "Ket" (Joseph Anthony Sr.).
He is survived by: his sister Annamarie Katherine Gaconis (Stanley Lawerence); his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Marek; his cousin Katherine Farrell; and his significant other Sue McGuire. He is also survived by 14 nieces & nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews.
