Chris Thunder wrote a sympathy message

“It’s been a year since your passing, and I feel like now is as good as of a time as any to introduce myself, pay my respects to a man I never met, but I supposedly would not exist without. My name is Christopher John Thunder-Kalusa, Ray’s illegitimate son. For decades I toyed with the idea of finding you, meeting you, getting to know you and you me. It always felt like someone else’s back story though. A legend, family folklore, an origin story with only a couple pieces of information or evidence...”

Chris Thunder wrote a comment

“I don’t fault you. Much of who I am is in this decision of yours and how my life has been directed and carried since. For the most part, I am proud of who I am, and have done my best to learn from the mistakes of my and our shared histories… I pray you have found your peace, and rest well in eternity… “The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief. But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love.””
