He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila; his son Brendan Dillon; his sister Mary McGee (late John); his parents, Patrick and Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Ita (Jerry), Ellen (Jerry) and Jack (Rosemary).
He is survived by: his daughters, Colette Dailey (Jim), Ann Caruso (Pete), Maureen and Bernadette Gavin (Mick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
