She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur W. Barnes, Sr.; her son Richard; her parents, Robert R., Sr. and Ola MacDonald; and her sister Margaret Porter.

She is survived by: her children, A. Warren, Jr., Ashley Boria (Frank Ronzio), Lisa Filczer (late Terry), Robert and Margaret "Bundle" Royer (Michael D.); and her brother Dr. Robert R. MacDonald.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, IL 60074 or Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067.
