She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurston Egbert and Lucylle Egbert; her husband Frederick W. Rodey; her daughter Diane Rodey; and her brothers, Thurston Egbert and Charles Egbert.

She is survived by: her children, Frederick M. Urban (Michelle Irvin), Christine L. Hannigan, Nancy Urban (Fred DeMott, Jr.), Fred Rodey (Elaine) and Cathy Griswold (Linus); her grandchildren, Cara Knapke (Chad), Jacqueline Urban (Tony Garcia), Emily Urban (Keith Haines), Max Rodriguez, Heather Cooper (Will) and Matt Griswold; her great grandchildren, Elenora "Elle" Knapke and Camden Cooper; and her pet Cheryl Lou. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
