He is survived by: his wife Karen Auer (Kozerski); his children, Chris Auer and Gretchen Elzer (Scott); his grandchildren, Tyler and Joey Elzer; and his sisters, Betty Roombos (Bob) and Marilynn Stone (late Sherwin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
