It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Olechowski (Palatine, Illinois), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kenneth had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Kenneth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cheryl; his children, Joseph, Alicia, Linda Reed (Cameron) and Adored; his parents, Eugene and Arlene; and his sister Karen Glashan (Richard).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (831 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kenneth's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
