He is survived by: his son Bradley Johnston; his former wife Patricia Johnston; his brothers, David Johnston (Dawn) and James Johnston (Jacqueline); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Kowal (Jean), Timothy Kowalewski (Susan) and Karen Kouba (Keith). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
