With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl E. Thomas Sr. of Palatine, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Karl may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Joyner and Emily Thomas; and his sister Christine Kidd (late Bob). He is survived by: his wife Judy R. Thomas; his sons, Karl Thomas Jr. (Mickey), William Thomas (Karen) and David Thomas; and his sister Kitty Sundberg (Dennis).
