He is survived by: his wife Helen Meier; his children, Elizabeth Neal (David), Joseph Meier (Michelle), Brian Meier (Allison) and Amy Herbert (Michael); his grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, Catherine, Daniel, Brady, Joseph, Andrew, Margaret, Cullen, Molly and Reilly; and his sisters, Margaret Kloss, Jeanne Hardy and Susan Meier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions there will be no visitation, Funeral Mass Saturday January 2, 10:00 a. m. at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness, IL 60067.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
