He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kovac and Lillian Kovac; his brothers, Larry, Paul and Tom; his daughter Carrie; and his friend Butch.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Kovac; his children, Adam Kovac (Meredith), Eve Reineke (Rick) and Kevin Kovac; his stepdaughters, Bonnie Yates-Reutell (Eric) and Jennie McKee (Terry); his grandchildren, Nick, Vyvyan, Quinn, Ethan and Charlotte; his friends, Lee and Ron; and his children, Djziazia and Gramps.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the American Cancer Society in memory of John Richard Kovac.
