With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Maksymczuk of Palatine, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mychajlo and Pavlina; his cousin Vasyl Maksymczuk; his parents-in-law, Nykola and Anna Abramiuk; and his brother-in-law Wasyl Abramiuk.

He is survived by: his wife Paraskevia; his daughter Daria Phillipi (John); and his grandsons, Michael and Nykola.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be used to help buy protective vests for the soldiers in Ukraine.
