She is survived by: her children, Manuel Vargas, William Neal McCain (Kathy), Stanton McCain, Manuelita Vargas, Jose R. Vargas, Bertha Vargas and Pauline Ciotola (Philip); her grandchildren, Gianna, Gabriella, Philip, Aaron, Meya, Jordan, Delila, Isais, Alyssa, Ike, Samantha, Noellia, Austin, Cheyenne, Stanton, Naomi, Jacqueline, Michael, Ryan, Katherine, Ashley and Julianne; and her siblings, Violet Avila, Arlene Woodson, Alvin Salazar (Cathy) and Robert Salazar (Pat).
Although she reluctantly retired during Covid, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
