He is survived by: his mother Ireta Schiferl; his siblings, Donna LaPlante (Larry), Dan Schiferl (Joy) and Robert Schiferl; his stepdaughter Kathleen Buthman (Joel); his nieces and nephews, Andrew LaPlante (Anna), Brandon LaPlante (Bianca), Caleb LaPlante, Mallory Horsch (Brandon), Matthew Schiferl, Aimee Schiferl and Zach Schiferl; and his stepgrandchildren, Bella and Ben.
