She was predeceased by: her husband Donald F. Wirkus; her sister Virginia Wolanik (George); and her nephew Jeffrey Wolanik. She is survived by: her daughter Karyn Holtz (Matt); her grandchildren, Kelsey and Colin; and her nephew Michael.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
