He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Anne Wirth; his children, Lynn Daugerdas (David) and Laurie Wood (Michael); his grandchildren, Trevor Daugerdas, Amanda Wood and Colin Wood; his parents, Edward Wirth and Anna Mae Wirth; and his siblings, Joyce Poister (Ronald) and Jim. He was also cherished by many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.
