He was predeceased by: his parents, Osmund Halsne and Hanna Halsne (Clausen); his wife Karen Lostumo; and his sisters, Dolores Capek and Lorraine Engelen.

He is survived by: his daughters, Alana Baarda (Brent) of Libertyville and Marla Greenspan (Greg LaPointe) of Phoenix; and his grandsons, Evan, Ryan and Brendan Greenspan. He is also survived by his family and friends.
