She was predeceased by: her parents, Loral V. Bird and Greta V. Bird (Busby); her husband John F. Stroup; her daughter Nancy Stroup; her grandson Kevin Stroup; and her siblings, John Bird, Neal Bird and Margaret Prather.
She is survived by: her children, John F., II Stroup (Carolyn) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Thomas E. Stroup of San Antonio, TX, Margy Brehmer (Steve) of Palatine, IL, Robert P. Stroup (Angie) of Bringhurst, IN and William N. Stroup (Lynne) of Redington Shores. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
