He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Farruggia and Noris Farruggia. He is survived by: his daughter Mora Farruggia; his wife Debbie Hudson; and his brother Robert Farruggia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to North Park University in memory Dr. Gianfranco Farruggia.
