It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Heedum (Palatine, Illinois), who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Heedum and Elaine Heedum. He is survived by: his wife Linda Heedum; his sister Janis Heedum (Rob Mustard); his daughters, Julie Monacella (Peter), Dori Mensah (Kwame) and Jill Woodworth (Charles); and his grandchildren, Avery, Grant, Nyla, Kade, Adrian, Quinn and Maeve.

“We are saddened at Gary's passing. We spent many weekends together, hunting and fishing when we were kids. We also spent most Holidays together. Went to Minnesota multiple times where Roger still has a place. Gary presided over my father's funeral. He was very compassionate and made the day easier for all of us. It is times like this that we wish that we had spent more time in touch and not just a Christmas card. Rest in Peace Gary So sorry for your loss. Janis Linda and the girls Ken and Donna”
