Ethel G. Otto Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ethel G. Otto in Palatine, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bongratz and Elizabeth Bongratz; her husband Harold G. Otto; and her siblings, Wilber Bongratz, Joseph Bongratz and Irene Stodolny.
She is survived by: her sister Jeanne Brockway of Arlington Heights, IL; her daughters, Susan Allen (James) of Providence, RI, Bette Otto-Bliesner (Alan) of Boulder, CO and Julianne Dannowitz (Bob) of Grant Park, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Wells (Kim), Jessica Bliesner, Brian Bliesner (Louise), Robert Dannowitz, Amy Dannowitz, Laura Dannowitz (Andrew Bitner), Bryan Dannowitz (Carly) and Heidi McCraw (Nick); and her great grandchildren, MacKenna Wells, Clara McCraw, Isaac McCraw and Maxwell Benson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (201 N Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery N. Smith.
