She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Bacus Jacob; her parents, Lazarus Peara and Sarah Peara; her siblings, Theodore Peara (late Nell), Lazarus T. Peara, Jr., Kathaleen Peara, Dorothy Peara and Nanajohn Peara (late Ephraim); her nephew Edwin Peara; and her niece Patricia Peara.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Norman Jacob (Heather), Pamela Mizen (Thomas) and Dr. Gregory Jacob; her nephew Dr. Donald Peara; and her grandchildren, Norman Paul, Thomas, Sarah Jacob and Grace Mizen.
