With solemn reverence, we commemorate Edward Leo Diamond (Palatine, Illinois), whose life came to an end on January 9, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Diamond and Agnes Diamond (Mulkern); his significant other Mary Lea; and his siblings, Mary and Jim.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Connie), Patrick (Kathy) and Scott (Amy); and his grandchildren, Erin Helgeson (Grant), Andrea (Stephen Umhoefer), Claire, James, Jack (Bo), Thomas (Riley), Colin, Brooke, Kelly, Luke Edward Diamond and Brynn Isla Helgeson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (455 N Benton St, Palatine, IL 60067). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
