With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy E. Altergott of Palatine, Illinois, born in Jefferson Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Schneider and Christina Schneider; her sons, Gary F. Altergott (Sharon) and Brian D. Altergott (Barbara); her grandchildren, Amelia Gavin (Brian), Elizabeth Altergott, Jennifer Morgan, Scott Altergott (Monica), Carrie Havansek and Cadie White (Jason); her nephew Paul Eberlin (Maureen); her niece Jill Tran (Tung); her husband Frederick S. Altergott; her grandson Chad D. Altergott; and her sister Betty J. Eberlein. She was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to St. Paul United Church of Christ, attention to the memorial fund, 144 E. Palatine Road, Palatine, IL 60067.
