He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Matter and Joseph Matter; his close friend Quiwie Magnuson; his siblings, Clara Bauer and James Matter; and his adoptive son Jeffrey Matter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Alexander; his close friend Genny; his son Joseph (Caroline); and his brothers, Harold and Richard (Kathie).
His family appreciates her devotion and care especially during the challenging time of Covid restrictions.
